Slovenian electronic media report on Kosor-Pahor meeting in Lovran

LJUBLJANA, Oct 24 (Hina) - Slovenian electronic media reported on Saturday evening that the meeting of Croatian and Slovenian Prime Ministers Jadranka Kosor and Borut Pahor in Lovran earlier in the day ended "without particularly important conclusions".

Before the two premiers' meeting in the Croatian Istrian town of Lovran, there were speculations in the media that at their talks Kosor and Pahor might give more concrete comments on the issue of the now defunct Ljubljanska bank and its depositors in Croatia and the possible beginning of the work of Nova Ljubljanska Banka in Croatia.

The Slovenian media, however, confirm that the meeting of the two premiers reaffirmed good bilateral relations.

The Slovenian state news agency STA notes that Kosor and Pahor discussed possibilities for joint ventures of Croatian and Slovenian companies on the third markets, with Pahor saying that the two countries' joint appearance at Expo 2012 in Korea will be yet another confirmation of the strengthening of friendship between the two nations.
