ZAGREB, July 10 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Tuesday received Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Hassan Fadaifard, who brought a letter from Iranian Foreign Minister
Manouchehr Mottaki, the Croatian ministry said in a statement.
ZAGREB, July 10 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Affairs and European
Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Tuesday received Iranian
Ambassador Mohammad Hassan Fadaifard, who brought a letter from Iranian Foreign
Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, the Croatian ministry said in a statement. In the letter, Mottaki commented on talks the ambassadors of Iran and the
US held in Baghdad in late May on Iraq's future and on possible solutions to
end conflicts and establish lasting peace in Iraq and the entire region.
Grabar-Kitarovic supported the talks, voicing hope they would continue
and result in a solution that would establish lasting peace.
Speaking of Iran's nuclear programme, she said that Croatia, as a
member of the International Atomic Energy Agency, wanted this issue to be
closed peacefully and through negotiations as soon as possible.
