The two parties requested that those officials be replaced by expert and trained professionals.
HSLS leader Djurdja Adlesic asked that the lion's share of the investigation of corruption in the Croatian Privatisation Fund be completed by the autumn so that it should not become a subject of political competition ahead of parliamentary elections.
She said the withdrawal of HSS and HSLS officials would constitute pressure on the government to settle the issue of ministers on public companies' supervisory committees as soon as possible.
HSS leader Josip Friscic said the two parties wanted a responsible relationship towards state property, restoring order in privatisation, inventorying all state property and re-evaluating it.
Asked by the press how many HSLS and HSS officials were on supervisory committees, Adlesic said HSLS members were on nine and HSS members on three committees.
