According to unofficial information the attorneys received from the UN war crimes tribunal at The Hague, the trial of the three generals could begin only after the trial in the Delic case, which is scheduled to end in one year's time.
The start of the joint trial, originally set for May 7, has been postponed indefinitely due to a number of unresolved issues pertaining to the case.
Only the ICTY Trial Chamber can call the beginning of the trial, but it has not yet made a decision on the new date for the trial.
The three generals are charged with war crimes committed during a Croatian army offensive that crushed the Serb rebellion in central Croatia in the summer of 1995.
