ZAGREB, April 12 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Thursday sent a message of condolence to his Algerian counterpart Abdelaziz Bouteflika following Wednesday's terrorist attacks in Algiers which claimed the lives of more
than 20 people and wounded more than 200.

Bouteflika following Wednesday's terrorist attacks in Algiers which claimed the
lives of more than 20 people and wounded more than 200. Croatia
most strongly condemns the terrorist attacks directed at Algerian citizens and
Algeria's stability, President Mesic said in the message, adding that global
terrorism was an evil that should be countered by the entire world.
Twenty-four people were killed and 222 were wounded in the attacks on
the government headquarters in downtown Algiers and the city's eastern suburb
of Bab Ezzouar. The two attacks occurred simultaneously at 10.45 local time.
