The seminar, organised by the ministry in cooperation with the International Organisation on Migrations and with the support of the Norwegian government, will be addressed by experts in law, psychology and human rights protection, as well as by police officers.
The seminar will focus on migrations, with emphasis on combating human trafficking. The purpose of the project is to help the Croatian government in training its diplomatic and consular staff and raising the public awareness of the problem.
"Croatia is actively combating all forms of crime in Southeast Europe, which are manifested in the organising of illegal migrations, smuggling of people and trafficking in human beings," the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic said in her opening remarks.
