Kosor and Pahor to meet on 31 July for talks on Ljubljanska Banka issue

DUBROVNIK, July 10 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor has announced her meeting with Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor for 31 July in Bohinj, Slovenia, for talks on the dispute regarding Ljubljanska Banka.

She informed about the planned meeting during her stay in Dubrovnik on Saturday.

The two premiers are expected to meet in the northwestern Slovenian lakeside resort of Bohinj on the first anniversary of their meeting in Trakoscan, Croatia, when they agreed on the unblocking of Croatia's European union accession process and the separation of the Croatian-Slovenian border talks from the Croatian EU membership negotiations.

The issue of the payment of deposits of Ljubljanska Banka clients in Croatia has burdened the bilateral relations since the disintegration of the former Socialist Yugoslavia.

Kosor told reporters that before her meeting with Pahor she would hold consultations with the Croatian National Bank (HNB) governor, Zeljko Rohatinski, and with partners in the ruling coalition.

Earlier on Saturday, Kosor and Pahor met on the margins of the ongoing Croatian Summit in Dubrovnik and agreed that Croatia's entry into the European bloc was just the matter of time.
