Today's negotiations were held behind closed doors and attending were deputy prime ministers Jadranka Kosor and Damir Polancec as well as the ministers of finance, agriculture and regional development, Ivan Suker, Bozidar Pankretic and Petar Cobankovic respectively.
Last Thursday dairy farmers and the government reached a deal on minimum milk price and farmers' loans rescheduling after disgruntled farmers staged protests in Zagreb.
Later on Tuesday, the ministry of agriculture, fisheries and rural development stated that the talks on wheat price would resume next Tuesday (23 June).
The ministry said that the talks on a pace for the payment of 15-percent difference in grants would also resume.
