"This is a great victory of the pro-EU policy," Josipovic said explaining that the "Yes" result in the referendum contributed to better prospects of the European Union enlargement.
Attending a ceremony of the 10th anniversary of the Transparency International Croatia in Zagreb, Josipovic congratulated the Slovenians on "the good and sensible decision".
Asked whether the support was narrow as 51.46 percent of the voters approved the deal with 48.52 percent circling "No", the Croatian head of state said that this was the matter of democracy where decisions were made by a majority of the vote.
