ZAGREB, June 5 (Hina) - A total of 25,300 people visited the six
national parks in Croatia in the first three months of 2010, with the
highest number of guests, namely 10,500, reported in the Plitvice
Lakes, the Central Bureau of Statistics reported on Friday.
Two thirds of visitors in the first quarter of 2010 were foreigners.
The number of sightseers touring the national parks -- Brijuni, Kornati, Krka, Paklenica, the Pltivice Lakes and Risnjak -- went up by 12 percent as against the first quarter of 2009.
