OSIJEK, Jan 28 (Hina) - Jene Adam, a former parliamentary
representative of ethnic Hungarians in the Croatian parliament, was
found guilty of abuse of office and was given a suspended sentence of
6-month imprisonment with a 2-year probation period. At his retrial
before the Osijek County Court, Adam was acquitted of the charge of
forgery of official documents. He was found guilty of misappropriating
HRK 23,752 of parliamentary funds.
