HDZ branch in Makarska, HDZ mayor of Zadar for Bandic

ZAGREB/ZADAR, Dec 29 (Hina) - The local branch of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) in the southern coastal town of Makarska has called on HDZ supporters to vote for independent candidate Milan Bandic in the country's presidential run-off, and Zadar Mayor Zvonimir Vrancic of the HDZ has also announced his backing to Bandic, although HDZ leaders have said that the party will not support either of the two front-runners in the second election round on 10 January.
