ZAGREB, Dec 10 (Hina) - The trial chamber of the International Criminal
Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in the case against Croatian
generals Ante Gotovina, Ivan Cermak and Mladen Markac decided to
convene a special hearing on Friday at which arguments are to be
discussed about the "freezing" of the situation in this trial, and the
prosecution is expected to submit by noon Friday its response to
arguments forwarded by the defence team of General Gotovina regarding
its insistence on subpoenaing the ICTY Serge Brammertz, the trial
chamber's presiding judge Alphons Orie said on Thursday afternoon.
