Only newspaper in Croatian language in Montenegro appears in redesigned format

ZAGREB, 26 Oct (Hina) - "Hrvatski glasnik", the only printed media in the Croatian language in Montenegro, appeared in a completely redesigned format this month with additional value also in content and its relevance, editor Nikola Dončić told Hina on Friday.

The "Croatian Glasnik" newspaper has been published for 21 years, and the publisher is the Croatian Civic Society (HGD), an association promoting ethnic Croat heritage in Montenegro.

The first issue of the magazine was launched on 7 February 2003, when 1,000 copies were printed.

Since 2012, it has been published as a monthly newspaper.

Nikola Dončić recalls that the Hrvatski Glasnik spreads a message about the existence of the Croats in the Bay of Kotor and in Montenegro. He says that the publication of such newspaper contributes to efforts to help the ethnic Croat community to survive in the region.
