The year's almanac acquaints readers with the development of Croatian emigrant communities and brings an overview of the current situation in Croatia, thereby fulfilling one of the HMI's main purposes, said Ivan Hrstić of the Ivo Pilar Institute of Social Sciences.
The HMI and this almanac act as a bridge between Croatia and its expat communities, said María Florencia Luchetti of the Migration Research Institute, adding that the 2024 almanac also examines the new forms of mobility of Croatians.
The almanac contains 27 expert and scientific texts, with summaries in English and Spanish, on 304 pages as well as 98 photos.
