The event is bring promoted "on all channels in 23 world markets," in cooperation with Croatia Airlines and Turkish Airlines as well as Croatian Railways, which will offer ticket discounts, Bienenfeld said.
Mayor Tomislav Tomašević thanked everyone involved in the organisation, saying that Zagreb Advent is a big logistical enterprise as it lasts five weeks.
He said the city would earn €480,000 from the lease of booths at Advent locations, four times more than in 2019 due to different tenders.
On New Year's Eve, Zagreb's residents and tourists will be entertained in the main square by the group Let 3, which competed in this year's Eurovision Song Contest, Tomašević said.
The concerts during Advent will include two by Australian choirs with over 100 children at Cvjetni Trg square in the centre of the city.
"We invite everyone... from Croatia and the world, to come to Zagreb Advent. Trust us, you won't regret it," the mayor said.
