The association's leader, Damir Kremenić, presented the activities of the association such as the collection and preservation of 5,000 books in the Frankopan library and other heritage items and artefacts.
The association, based in Kornić on the island of Krk, organises campaigns aimed at raising awareness of the importance of the Glagolitic script and the Chakavian dialect. It holds a summer school of the Glagolitic script and publishes magazines in Chakavian.
The Croatian language has three dialects, Chakavian, Kaikavian and Shtokavian, which is the basis of the standard Croatian language.
Chakavian is spoken along the Adriatic coast, while Kaikavian is used in the northern and northwestern parts of Croatia.
