Croatia-Egypt relations are friendly and founded on long-standing mutual understanding and partnership, it was said.
Primorac said he was pleased with the exceptional cooperation in finance based on which the two countries will sign, during a visit he and a Croatian delegation will pay to Egypt this month, a convention on the avoidance of double taxation of income and assets and the prevention of tax evasion.
The entry into force of the convention will result in many income tax breaks and better conditions for increasing bilateral trade and economic activity, Primorac said.
The two officials exchanged views on current macroeconomic trends and discussed global geopolitical and economic challenges, the ministry said, adding that both sides expressed willingness to cooperate in joint future projects.
