ZAGREB, June 17 (Hina) - The Croatian government on Friday dismissed as unfounded allegations that it exerted undue pressure on the German insurer Allianz in the context of an operation by pension funds to take over Sberbank's stake in the Fortenova retailer and food producer, and that the transaction would have violated the EU's sanctions regime against Russia, noting that it cooperated with Fortenova only because it wanted to protect Croatia's stability.
