Valuable computer equipment delivered to BiH with support of Croatian gov't

ZAGREB, 30 March (Hina) - Three schools in West Herzegovina Canton, based in Široki Brijeg, were given computer equipment worth around €75,000 on Thursday, for which they applied as part of a 2022 Croatian government project supporting Croat institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Three large primary schools in Široki Brijeg, Ljubuški and Posušje have been equipped with new computers.

As announced by the Institute for Education of Western Herzegovina Canton, this grant is part of the project Digitisation of the Education System of Western Herzegovina Canton - E-school 2022. The project was launched by the Institute a year earlier when it also applied for funds granted by the Office for Croats Abroad and when it was allocated HRK 600,000 (€75,000).

The State Secretary of the Central State Office for Croats Abroad, Zvonko Milas, said on this occasion that "investing in education is investing in a better and more prosperous future", describing such investment as extremely important for every society.
