In Croatia, the Adriatic city of Zadar will be the venue of the concert which will be performed by musicians Vladimir Mićković, as part of those 35 concerts to mark the international Day of the Mediterranean.
The National Foundation for the Development of Civil Society is a co-organiser of the Zadar concert titled "Vladimir & Kalafat". All those 35 concerts will start at 1900 hrs CET. In Zadar, the event will take place in Kneževa Palača Palace (Rector's Palace).
The Day of the Mediterranean was introduced in 2021 by the Union for the Mediterranean with the aim of promoting the shared identity, common heritage and love for the Mediterranean.
The union is holding the 7th Regional Forum in Barcelona this week.
28 November is designated as the Day of Mediterranean in memory of 28 November 1995 when the Barcelona Declaration was adopted in that Spanish city during the 27-28 November meeting of the Euro-Mediterranean Ministerial Conference with the aim of boosting cooperation between countries in the south and the north of that sea.
