This refers to a three-year project - Artificial Intelligence for Smart Health and Medicine - which received excellent reviews from the European Commission as part of the Digital Europe programme. It is expected to have a budget of €3 million over a period of three years, according to the RBI.
The AI4Health.Cro project will be implemented by the Ruđer Bošković Institute with partners from science, medicine, industry and the public sector.
The IRB said that the goal is to provide startups and innovators who are working on artificial intelligence technology and have the need for high-performance computing (HPC) with a stimulating ecosystem so that these solutions can be used for the benefit of patients, doctors and the innovation climate in Croatia.
AI4Health.Cro - non-profit public-private consortium
The AI4Health.Cro project is a non-profit public-private consortium that sees artificial intelligence as the key to health progress and as a catalyst to lead Europe to a healthier future.
Anja Barešić, coordinator of the partners from the IRB, said that the European Commission awarded them with high marks (14 out of a possible 15 points). This is an opportunity for all those innovators who have ready-made solutions and need help in developing their technology from the testing phase to marketing.
