Croatia's tourist hidden gems promoted by the Guardian

ZAGREB, 2 April (Hina) -The Guardian, a British daily newspaper, has recently published an article about Croatia, as a tourist destination which has interesting hidden gems apart from "perennial hotspots of Dubrovnik, Hvar, Brač and Korčula."

The article encourages visitors to " explore the natural wonders, sleepy villages and car-free islands of seven lesser-known regions" and in this context mentions the coastal town of Tribunj, Papuk Nature Park, the car-free island of Silba, the Mrežnica River, the Neretva Delta, and Croatia’s newest nature park, Dinara, as well as Karinsko More, an inland sea connected to the Adriatic by a narrow channel.

"But while millions of people spent last year beating a well-trodden path, there are still regions, islands and beaches where the tourist footprint is lighter, the crowds fewer and the atmosphere more mellow. If you’re looking for an escape and a new discovery this year – but not the crowds – you’ll find it in these places," reads the article headlined "Hidden Croatia".

The head of the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) office in London, Darija Rejić, believes that this news article will contribute to the perception of Croatia as an attractive and sought-after destination.
