Croatia's swimmer Sinovčić wins bronze in men's 100m backstroke at Paralympics

ZAGREB, 3 Sept (Hina) - Croatian Dino Sinovčić won a bronze medal in the men's 100m backstroke S6 final at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo on Friday, raising Croatia's medal tally to four.

The 29-year-old paraswimmer from Split came third with the result 1:15.74. The Olympic champion in this event is Chinese Hongguanga Jia (1:12.72), while Argentinian Matiasa de Andrade grabbed silver (1:15.40).

The best Croatian paraswimmer, who suffers from arthrogryposis, is a world and European champion in backstroke swimming.
