An ultrasound device, 27 stainless steel hospital trolleys and a perinatal information system were donated to the hospital clinical in Petrova Street through the Qatar Embassy in Zagreb, the KBC Zagreb hospital said.
This is the second part of the donation from Qatar Charity. In September last year, it donated medical equipment worth €77,700 to the Clinical Hospital for Women's Diseases and Obstetrics, so the total value of its donation to the KBC Zagreb hospital is €173,520.
The Interim Charge d'Affaires, Roumy Mahanna Al-Naimi, took part in the handover ceremony on Friday, as a representative from the Qatar Embassy on behalf of the donors.
Representatives of Croatia's Foreign Affairs Ministry and Health Ministry also attended the ceremony.
Hospital director Ante Ćorušić and head of the Clinical Hospital for Women's Diseases and Obstetrics, Slavko Orešković, thanked the donors on behalf of KBC Zagreb.
