ZAGREB, 4 January (Hina) - The Croatian Association of Security Managers has launched a website where information can be checked on the bank accounts of organisations collecting aid and donation campaigns for people affected by the December 29 earthquake in Sisak-Moslavina County.
The website, Provjera.com, is maintained by a group of independent experts in information security management, data protection and banking system security and it also contains information on how to protect oneself from financial fraud and false campaigns.
The purpose of the website is to inform citizens and protect them from financial fraud and false and unverified information and to assist in the prevention of fraud in the online collection of earthquake relief.
