Croatia's COVID-19 cases rise by 15 to 2,062, death toll rises by 4 to 67

ZAGREB, April 29 (Hina) - In the last 24 hours, there have been 15 new infections with the novel coronavirus in Croatia, bringing the total number to 2,062, whereas the death toll has risen by four to 67, Croatia's COVID-19 crisis management team said at a daily news conference on Wednesday.

As for the latest fatalities, those were four elderly persons, born in 1928, 1936, 1944 and in 1950, and they had had underlying health conditions, according to information provided by Maja Grba Bujevic of the crisis management team.

There are currently 19 patients on ventilators, two fewer than on Tuesday.

Since the outbreak of the infection in late February, 34,476 people have been tested.

Currently 269 patients diagnosed with the virus are being treated in hospitals, 18 fewer than on Tuesday.

 To date, 1,288 Croatians have recovered from this disease.
