"We have shown a lot of sensibility so far when it comes to the Middle East crisis. We are trying to moderate, to be mediators, we are trying to talk. Every politician and diplomat is responsible because the world must rest on peace and security," he told reporters, commenting on the migrant flow on the Greek-Turkish border after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan "opened the door" to migrants heading for the EU, i.e. the Greek border.
Grlic Radman said he condemned all forms of violence and that the EU was doing its best to show by example that it was an organisation with the highest level of human rights. "And that's how it acts and we are recognised in the world. Those European values are universal."
