ZAGREB, Nov 24 (Hina) - Candles were lit and wreaths laid in Laslovo near Osijek on Sunday to commemorate the 28th anniversary of the fall of the village and its occupation by Serb paramilitaries and the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA), with War Veterans Minister Tomo Medved saying that the example of Laslovo bore witness to the unity of Croats and ethnic Hungarians who defended the village together.
