The funds will be managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and transferred to the Hunting Association as required to compensate insurance pay outs for damage caused by wildlife.
Agriculture Minister Marija Vuckovic underscored that damage caused to vehicles by wildlife is on the rise, which has lead to increased insurance premiums and, consequently, impacts the sustainability of the entire system and people with hunting concessions could refrain from continuing with these activities.
"That would have a negative impact on meeting the requirements of the hunting law," she said.
