ZAGREB, May 28 (Hina) - A fair of vegan food and products was formally opened by Mayor Milan Bandic in Zagreb's main square on Tuesday, and the event brought together a score of family farms and companies that promote vegan food and animal rights.
The eighth edition of the day-long event was organised by the nongovernmental association "Friends of Animals" led by Luka Oman.
During the ceremony, Bandic announced for September the organisation of the ZeGeVege Festival of sustainable living, which is perceived as the largest vegan festival in this part of Europe.
