ZAGREB, May 26 (Hina) - According to media analyses of the results after the State Electoral Commission (DIP) counted the ballots from 95.91% of polling stations, the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and the strongest opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP) have won four seats each in Sunday's election for the European Parliament.
The Sovereignists, the independent slate led by former judge Mislav Kolakusic, Human Shield and the seven-party Amsterdam Coalition have each won one seat.
Other slates have not passed the election threshold of 5% of the vote, according to latest media analyses.
