ZAGREB, Feb 28 (Hina) - Defence counsel for the accused in the trial for war crimes committed against Croat civilians in the eastern Croatian village of Lovas in 1991 asked a Belgrade court in their closing statements on Thursday to acquit their clients, saying that the allegations in the indictment were unfounded and were not backed by evidence.
