ZAGREB, Feb 22 (Hina) - One third of food produced in the world is thrown away every year, mainly due to excessive purchasing and poor understanding of the meaning of expiration dates, but also due to the unattractive fruit and vegetables that are mostly thrown away, so it is necessary to educate young people from the earliest age, according to the "Do Good: Save Food!" conference held in the European Parliament on Thursday.
