VUKOVAR, May 20
(Hina) - The authorities in eastern Croatia on
Tuesday continued to battle against flood waters threatening
communities on the left bank of the Sava River, and the evacuation of
inhabitants from the villages of Strosinci and Posavski Podgajci was
under way, with the nearby flooded villages of Gunja, Racinovci and
Rajevo Selo having been already evacuated.
