ZAGREB, Jan 9
(Hina) - The association for the promotion of the
judiciary in Croatia - Juris Protecta - issued a statement on
Wednesday, condemning the appointment of former spokeswoman for the
Croatian Pensioners' Party (HSU) Branka Valentic as HINA director,
stressing by doing so the ruling coalition wanted to gain control over
the news agency, as a public medium.
