ZAGREB, Dec 14 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Ivica
Kostovic today met Swedish Immigration and Refugee Minister Leif
Blomberg for talks on Croat refugees from Bosnia-Herzegovina, now
in Sweden.
The main problem were some 5,000 Bosnian Croat refugees who
had acquired Croatian passports and dual citizenship.
The Swedish Government regards them as Croatian citizens and
believes Croatia should provide them with accomodation since it is
not officially at war.
Kostovic asked for their return to Croatia to be delayed for
another 3 months after which problems of each refugee should be
discussed individually.
Blomberg said the Swedish Parliament would debate the problem
of Croatian refugees.
He asked Croatia to issue transit visas to 400 Moslems
expelled from Banja Luka, who had already been granted Swedish
visas and were staying in a transit centre in UNPA West.
