WASHINGTON, Feb 13 (Hina) - Representatives of Croatia, Albania and Macedonia met in the US State Department in Washington on Monday to discuss the progress of the three countries towards NATO and asked for US support for their admission to the military alliance as soon as possible.

At the fifth meeting of the US-Adriatic Charter Partner Commission, foreign ministers Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic of Croatia, Besnik Mustafaj of Albania and Ilinka Mitreva of Macedonia discussed the three countries' individual achievements on their path to NATO membership, the State Department said.

The three ministers were scheduled to meet the Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs, Nicholas Burns, for talks on NATO and the situation in Southeastern Europe.
